Publisher Description

I received a complimentary of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a GREAT addition to the series. I adored Greyson and his search for the missing K-9 (War Dog) that he had been assigned to find. Kona was to go to a family in Denver, CO but somehow turned up in Hawaii. Kona went missing about 3 weeks ago. Through Greyson's investigation, he comes across a woman Jessica and her young son, Danny. Jessica has a stalker. But who hired him, want exactly does his want and can Greyson and Kona be able to protect mother and son?
It is these questions, that kept me glued to my e-reader. The suspense is a little slow just in the very beginning as the author is laying a great foundation to the story. It picks up very quickly and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I needed to know who, what and why!!!
This story is told in a dual POV format. That is my preferred method. Getting that inside glimpse into the characters' thought really helps me to identify and relate to the characters so much better.
If you love military romance (and really who doesn't!) and a strong female, a toddler and a K-9, then this story is one that is a must. Now there was a slightly sexy scene. It was highly glossed over so it should not offend anyone but I can only highly recommend this story to someone OVER the age of 18.
Awesome Book
I love this series! I think the basis for the stories is what makes me love the books more than usual! I love dogs and the story is about finding a war dog that has been lost in the system due to unforeseen circumstances. The characters in the book interact so well and having the added benefit of there being a dog as one of the main characters grabbed my attention. This book has action and suspense and some romance too. Loved the book so much I read it in one sitting!

Heartwarming
I don’t know how Dale Mayer does it but I fell in love with Greyson and Jessica’s story. Kona the magnificent K-9 that Grey had gone to Hawaii to look for guarding Danny and throughout all the kidnapping, break ins etc kept me on the edge of the bed wondering what was going to happen next . PS loved his grandparents too
