Helping Kerrick was one thing, getting tagged for a mission of his own quite another …
His heart ached to hear a young girl had been kidnapped while at a hotel in Thailand, waiting for her father to arrive. But nothing is ever as it seems, and this case isn’t even close to simple.
Lorelai spent the last seven years enjoying her young charge, Amelia Rose. Tutoring the daughter of a wealthy business owner added perks to the job, like holidays around the world. In all these years Lorelai had never once seen the downside to having big money–until the holiday in Thailand where Amelia Rose is targeted, and they were both kidnapped.
Griffin managed to rescue the kidnapped victims, but tracing the kidnappers was a whole different story and brought the group a little too close to home …

Griffin
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a wonderful book full of suspense and intrigue. I was glued to my e-reader while trying to figure out who would have ordered the kidnapping of an eleven year old (Amelia Rose) along with her tutor (“Lorelei) and nurse. Fortunately Griffin and Jax answer the call to rescue them. Little Amelia Rose is the daughter of a media mogul and is kidnapped in Thailand. After a harrowing rescue the guys then have to figure out who is behind the heinous act.
I loved the dual POV that this book is written in. Getting to know them and their attraction to each other basically takes place in their thoughts in the beginning especially with all of the action going on.
There is one minor sexy scene that was so highly glossed over that it should not offend anyone. That being said though, I can only highly recommend this story to anyone over the age of 18.
Griffin (Rescue from Enemies Outside and Within)
A little girl and her tutor are kidnapped in Thailand. 2 SEALS, members of the newly formed Maverick Team are called in. Things are not what they appear. The men have fewer rules but major support to accomplish the near impossible. Bravo!!

No loose threads!
This is book 2 in The Mavericks series and it features Griffin and Lorelei. Let me start off with the stories in this series leave NO new loose threads. Every single scenario, idea or hint of evidence is thoroughly explored. Every plot, every plan is described in detail. Griffin is sent to Thailand to rescue a kidnapped 11-year-old girl and her tutor. I love how the attraction between Griffin and the tutor, Lorelei, happens gradually. They know there’s an attraction there but there’s more important things going on around them.
This story reads like a game of “Who done it?” The characters are fabulous and the story line is exciting but has a bit too many details.
