Grimm Academy Volume 1

Three wonderfully made enchanting variations of our favorite fairy tales. To have my own surprise, i did not read the titles of the book to see if I can guess the story and what will happen. Two of the books, I knew right of which fairy tale they were. The other one had a different name, so I kept guessing untila certain word/item appeared. Though they were those old fairy tales, the dtory were written that you will have to keep guessing what will happen next, making it enchanting entertaining.

Grimm Academy Volume 1 features the first 3 stories in the series: Tower of Thorns is a retelling of Rapunzel, Spindles and Spells is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty, and Pumpkins and Proms is a retelling of Cinderella. I was fortunate to read each story individually and write my review per book. This volume is great in that you have all three books and no wait time for the next novel to continue this ‘feel good’ saga. Plus you do not have to keep track of what story is next or if the series is in order.

This was such a wonderful read that I couldn’t put it down. The books grab me from beginning to end, and I enjoyed everyone of them. The characters were well written, and had a great chemistry together. I highly suggest these books.
