Growing Up Aloft is a charming story that takes readers on an exhilarating adventure through the eyes of a girl passionate for traveling. It's hard not to fall in love with Kate as we see her as a 2 year-old hoping to score a modeling contract in Rome, a 10 year-old with grand retirement dreams to feed ducks in the French countryside, and a determined high schooler who tries to contact the President of Estonia.
Fantastic Journey
Growing Up Aloft is a witty, wonderful journey, not only of a young tourist traveling around the world but of a young woman growing into her own as she discovers the world around her. Kate’s attention to detail to the places she visits as well as the connections she makes to her family and the places they tresure as tourists is a joy to read.
