Grumpy, the Angry Goat

Once upon a time there was a little Billy goat, named Grumpy. Grumpy the goat was always grumpy. 

“I’m a mountain goat,” he thought. “I want to climb. It’s so flat here and there’s nothing to eat but grass.” One day, Grumpy was so angry. He ran round the field and frightened Gordon the goose. Gordon the goose flapped his wings and squawked at him to stop.

“What’s the matter, Grumpy?” Gordon asked. But Grumpy did not answer. He glared at him with angry red eyes. Gordon knew something was wrong. 

“I think Grumpy needs a surprise,” he thought.
