Upping the stakes
This book really ups the ante for the series. The dark witch has a big secret she is hiding from the demon she is working with, Coraline is trying to understand her place in the war, and Damien is trying to protect her. The dark army pulls out some new tricks to give themselves any advantage they can, and this leads to very tense times. Each side gains some new allies, and the pressure is building to see who will win. There are some big reveals in this book, and the ending leaves you going OMG. It does have a cliff hanger, and I can't wait to see what happens!
