Guilty Like Us is another winner from Mary Campisi, who her fans know is a master at creating complex stories filled with family drama. This addition to her Reunion Gap series revolves around Harrison Alexander’s desire to have his estranged daughter, Meredith, return home...even if it takes blackmail to accomplish the goal. Daniel’s father is the blackmail victim, so of course he accepts the mission. Meredith turns out to be nothing like the trust fund princess he expected and his attraction to her is real, even if his cover story isn’t. Hiding his true identity becomes more difficult, but imperative the closer he comes to mission fulfillment. Will Daniel actually convince Meredith to go back to visit Reunion Gap and if she does what will that do to a relationship that is becoming important to both of them? Buckle up and prepare to keep reading... the road is about to become bumpy. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Highly recommend.
