Liked it more than I disliked it, but the MMC never really apologizes or grow from the way he treats the FMC in the beginning, and he treats all his servants terribly. He’s very classist and we’re supposed to be ok with it, but he’s a jerk to people he considers below his notice.

If you love historical romances like I do you'll love this. The characters are well developed and you feel like a part of their lives- even the ancillary characters are engaging! The romance is juicy and the sex scenes are on point- realistic with no cheese. The first time the protagonists kiss was so engaging! I've read good and bad historical romances and this is one of the good ones. Delishhhhh!!
