Guitar Class Method Volume 2

Volume 2 of the Guitar Class Method focuses on melodic development and solo playing and provides a vast collection of solos, duets and quartets in multiple styles including rock, blues, classical, Gospel, and folk using flatpick and fingerstyle technique. A special quartet section presents the opportunity for intermediate-level players to experience ensemble playing. Presents individual segments on Chord Strumming Melody; Country style accompaniment; Bluegrass Style Solos; Blues and Contemporary Sounds; Fingerstyle Solos and Country Blues Solos; Note Reading and Melodic Development; Guitar Quartets; Note Reading Solos in Various Styles; and Melody-Chord Solo Playing. Written in standard notation and tablature with chords presented in both diagram and photo format. The individual segments can be used concurrently in any order.
