Great first impression!
I love this book. It takes place over a few weeks... I think. The main male character is a man that was born human turned hybrid wolf after his army unit was attack in Bolivia. The main female character is a full-blooded wolf who is trapped in a loveless, even likeless, 'relationship'. The two meet at a bar one night and expect nothing but a good one night stand out of it. What the get is a whole lot more.
This story is exciting and sexy. It has danger, intrigue, first romance, second chances, broken hearts, and true love. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to seeing what comes next.
Engaging story
This book introduces Gunner and his squad - how they were turned and the current living situations they’re in, starting with Gunner.
I really enjoyed how the story flowed, the interactions he has with a former squad member, squad member’s wife and Celine. How they just can’t fight thinking of each other and her realizing he’s the one/mate. And how Gunner learns more about being a shifter.
Great start to the series and very much looking forward to reading the next book!

I enjoyed this book, I finished it in a few hours.
