The former Tin Gypsy motorcycle club has everyone in Clifton Forge, Montana convinced they’ve locked their clubhouse doors and ripped off their patches. Everyone but Bryce Ryan. There’s more happening at the club’s garage than muscle car restorations and Harley rebuilds. Her instincts are screaming there’s a story—one she’s going to tell.
As the new owner of the small town’s newspaper, Bryce is hungry for more than birth announcements and obituaries. When a woman is brutally killed and all signs point to the Tin Gypsies, Bryce is determined to expose the club and their leader, Kingston “Dash” Slater, as murderers.
Bryce bests Dash match after match, disappointed her rugged and handsome opponent turns out to be an underwhelming adversary. Secrets are exposed. Truths defeat lies. Bryce is poised to win this battle in a landslide.
Then Dash breaks all the rules and tips the scales.
One kiss, and she’s fighting to save more than just her story. She’s fighting to save her heart from the Gypsy King.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Devney Perry wastes no time launching us into her exhilarating Tin Gypsy series. The first blistering instalment begins with Bryce Ryan, a failed news anchor desperate to rewrite her career, investigating the link between a recent murder and the disbanded Tin Gypsy motorcycle club. The stakes are raised when her intoxicating chemistry with local bad boy Dash Slater leads Bryce to put her integrity and job on the line. Perry explores themes of ambition and vengeance with the same ruthless confidence we see in her characters. Superbly evoking the intense isolation of her home state of Montana, her skilful plotting and memorable characters make sure the engine stays revving on an action-packed romance that kept us guessing right to the end.

If you’ve ever read a Devney Perry book, you know she always delivers and Gypsy King is no exception. Kingston “Dash” Slater is a former motor cycle club president. Bryce Ryan is a journalist determined to get her story. They are complete opposites and yet perfect for one another. Their constant banter is hilarious and Bryce is no damsel in distress. Not only do we het a romance but Devney Perry gives us a murder mystery too. While Bryce and Dash are busy falling in love they’re also trying to solve the murder. Evidence points to the Tin Gypsies but Dash is determined to prove that’s not true. I can’t wait for Riven Knight to find out who did it and what exactly happened on that mountain!
First time reading this author, chose it for the reviews. The story kept me interested, and the writing was well done. My age causes me not to enjoy the language and sex scenes, but as I said, the story and mystery kept me reading. Not used to not solving the mystery, so probably will go to the next book hoping for it to be solved. Will say disappointed in the very short epilogue.
Love this new series by Denver Perry.
