As she joins the dots, evidence points to a single cybercrime syndicate controlling a wave of data thefts, but they are watching her, too. The SimCavalier has thwarted their plans once too often.

The Syndicate is closing in. An attack on her home proves her cover is blown, but the only clues to the mastermind behind it are a dead man, a collection of hired thugs, and an unusual virtual assistant, Yasmin the Admin.
