Just started and suddenly it ended
What a wonderful story, a classic Anne Tyler that I had never read. I understood it was a short story, just 19 pages. The story moved at an even pace, but I was not prepared to have it end quite yet. It felt incomplete. I wanted more. But then again, even Anne Tyler’s longer books leave me wanting more. To live with her characters for a few days means missing them when the book is done. This was just 19 pages, a twenty minute read, great characters, great story.
