Tjøtta in Halsfjorden is the home of Viking poet Øyvind Skaldespiller and Petter Dass, the Priest-Poet of Nordland’s fisher-farmers. Seven of the Halsan family will emigrate to America settling in Astoria and Puget Sound. Finally a fateful e-mail reunites the Puget Sound and Halsfjord Halsans.
