Love this series
Oh how I've missed these two authors writing together. Hammer finally give us the second installment of the Regulators MC series but its also a mix of Camaron's Hellion series and Lane's Ex Ops series.
Since its been a while since Ice's book I was glad the first ¼ of the book was backstory for not only Hammer who at last we saw him was in bad shape from a mission and was confined to a wheel chair but also for Desirae who was the physical therapist who helped Tank recover in his book (Hellions MC series).
Hammer was a broken on the outside and wasnt dealing with not being a man (in his eyes) any more. Desirae was a woman broken on the inside from seeing the gruesome death of her sister. They are put together for Des to get Hammer's body back in working form and to keep her safe from the men who killed her sister but turns out together they are emotionally the healing factor the other needs to get over their past traumas.
I always love reading other reviews when I've read a book that has a shocking scene in it and boy does this one have one (its before the H and h meet so no cheating). Hammer was something else before he was tamed by Desirea...
One of my absolute favorite things is how these authors inter mix their series together and we get to continue to see previous characters plus we always get a glimpse of a future characters story. After reading this book yes I want Coal's story but I am also looking forward to Lucas Young story which will be part of Lane's Ex Ops series.
