Publisher Description
The Covid pandemic blew into our cities and towns, emptying our schools and offices, closing our shops and restaurants, changing our lives forever. As we flatten our curves and crawl out of lockdown, it’s time to rebuild our world with purpose and intention and re-imagine how we communicate in hybrid digital workspaces.
The Handbook for Post-Covid Communication is a new kind of prescriptive guidebook for effective messaging in the corporate space. Part graphic novel, part practical, business advice grounded in theory, the Handbook is designed to be read on a smartphone in less time than it takes to hear the results of your latest PCR test.

Engaging and informative
Comics are not just for kids! In this entertaining and informative story we find an important message for these times.
Rather than reacting or putting out fires in a crisis, communication takes on an even more critical role and can unite us in times of physical separation. The 'new normal' will require business to communicate with employees and customers in new, proactive and deliberate ways. We need a tool bag is filled with the right building blocks (aka rocks). The big idea, the small idea, the human touch: these foundations and more are explored as is the importance of visual storytelling.
I particularly enjoyed the animation at the end, which is the message in action.
If only all learning were so engaging!
It would have been really funny had this book been a 394-page, margin-to-margin, text-heavy textbook preaching to us about we should communicate post-covid.
But then, just as the author suggests, I wouldn't have read it. I wouldn't have bought it. I wouldn't have even picked it up.
But she manages to tell her story of post-covid communication in a lively, animated way that kept me flipping the pages so fast you'd think I was skimming over the homework I was supposed to be doing.
In one sitting, I flipped, stopped, watched, read, and deeply understood what she was getting across in this book and the beauty of it was that she was "Walking the Talk," she was using the communication techniques she's discussing in the book to tell her story.
If only the corporate presentations were so engaging!
If only the book I have to read about ____________ (fill in topic you have to learn about but might not really want to) were so engagingly told.
If only ...
What a refreshing look at communication told in a story of current-Covid and then post-Covid and how we can (and hopefully will) learn from it.
Well done!
