Detective Sergeant Blake Harknell is on loan to an investigation to a small town and community called Hangman’s Gap. Al Local policeman body is found burnt in a brush fire but had died from blunt force trauma to the back of his head. Then a third man is found bludgeoned to death in his own home. When ensues is a brilliant read full of unsavory characters. My highest recommendation !!! Enjoyed immensely !!
