Loved the story, but…
I can do without authors’ political views in a work of fiction. The two comments about a former president truly were NOT needed for the storyline.
Also, the grammatical errors were hard to figure out, with wrong words or missing words from sentences. (Where have all the editors gone?)
The epilogue being after a preview of the author’s next book was extremely odd. Had I not swiped pages at a slower rate than I usually swipe to get to the end of the book, I would have missed it entirely (as I believe another reviewer did miss it).
Sadly, I won’t be reading anymore books by this author for the reason stated above.
