Harriet and Wyn were the “it” couple among their friends, so they can’t bring themselves to announce that they have actually broken up. Months ago. Now they’re being thrown together for a week in Maine with their friend group, forcing them to keep up a charade that proves far more challenging than either of them expected. Emily Henry is one of our favorite romantic-comedy writers—Happy Place is packed with witty dialogue, sunny beach scenes, luscious lobster feasts, and wonderfully comforting portraits of longtime friendship. Her protagonists are the beating heart of the novel, and we loved piecing together the story of their relationship through frequent flashbacks. Heart warming and relatable
It started a bit slow for me, and it took a while for me to connect to the characters, but in the end it felt like a nice warm hug.
Great read!
I loved this story. The ins and outs and trying to imagine myself in the characters shoes (thinking I’d never be able to deal with that). One of my favorites of hers!

was a slow beginning, took a while to hook into me, but when it did, i finished 80% of the book in a few hours!!!!
