Hard Love (Part One‪)‬

“Jeffery Hill, do you take Pamela House to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold through sickness and in health, for richer or poorer?”

     “I do!” 

We are standing before our friends and family telling lies. Our lives will never be the same after today. 

I believe that is one of the biggest lies that Jeffery has ever told in a church. From where I’m standing, I can see the back door. I still have time to make a run for it, or maybe we can just have a big fabulous party, shake hands and walk away as mutual friends. 

Oh well, besides I’m looking fierce in my Michael Kors designer wedding gown that Jeffery paid for. He’s suddenly so...much in Love with Joseph and I that he can’t see straight. I hope no one can see the rather large knife hidden underneath my gown that I brought for–just in case. My gun was too large to hide in my bouquet. 

We have been happy for while. So I thought.
