Publisher Description
Women often say a good man is hard to find. And a hard man is even better.
That’s why I’m quite a catch— good, hard, loaded, and wait for it…I’m ready to settle down too. But the woman I want to pitch my tent with lives clear across the country. Neither of us wants to get lost in those woods. All I have to do is resist her for the week she's in town.
I try. I swear I try. But yeah, that doesn't work out.
And after one fantastic night with my good friend Mia, I’m ready to give her years of nights under the stars. What's a few thousand miles when love's involved? But there’s a hitch in my plans — she just hired my adventure tour company. If there’s one thing I’m committed to, it’s running a squeaky clean business. Number one on my list of iron-clad rules?
Don’t screw your customers.
Things are about to get very hard in the woods.
Customer Reviews
I love Patrick, Mia, and Zeus!
Hard Wood was an enjoyable, funny, and cute read. It all had a very light and happy feel to it, with few bumps in the road. Patrick is a sweet and "normal" guy, as Mia says, and I loved him. I'm not much of a cat person, but I loved Zeus! He is adorable and his chapters were cute and unique, especially the last epilogue. Mia and Patrick are cute together and I enjoyed reading their journey. I especially loved that a lot of the previous characters were included and we got some updates from them. Hard Wood was a good way to end the series.
Fun and Sweet!
I read this entire book within 7 hours...I was super sucked in. Hard Wood was super cute, fun, and light. It was a really sweet and feel good romance. I loved the lightness to it. Patrick is adorable to me and I dislikes cats, but Zeus was a lot of fun. I love the perfect fit that Mia and Patrick are to one another. They both know what they want, but have trouble navigating what the other wants. I enjoyed the overall story and really like these two together.
We got to see a bit of the whole gang through out and it was bittersweet. I love this world and group of characters, and I am sad their stories are coming to a close. Definitely love all these men and being in their heads.
Hard Wood
One of the best romantic comedies I have ever read. Lauren Blakely has outdone herself.
