Harness the Stars

Publisher Description

Harness the Stars is a humorous tale rooted in the mantra of sex, drugs, and rock and roll that plays out light-years from Earth. It’s the year 3307 and the Earth-based rock band Simmonhead Fred has arrived on Farel, the first stop on their yearlong galactic tour. Once settled in, Fred, Thom, and Ethan get right to their favorite pastime of drinking and chasing women, while the others in the tour group focus on preparing for their first gig on the planet. Meanwhile, across the galaxy, a successful plan has been hatched to steal a piece of the crown jewels from the Emperor of the planet Brem. The specific item supposedly has special powers known only to the monarchy, or so they think. The item grants the wearer the ability to conceive a male child each and every time. It’s this guarantee of the birth of a first-born male child that is of paramount importance to the Breman monarchy, and the primary reason the object is removed from the monarchy’s possession. At a gig on Farel, Fred meets a vibrantly beautiful young woman named Ashley Blunt. He accompanies her back to her apartment where things heat up rapidly. Just as Fred is ready to engage Ashley, she pauses and produces an object she wishes for him to wear. He agrees, and Ashley fits the jeweled object on Fred, and they get back to business. Due to a series of strange events, Fred ends up with the item in his possession. Shortly thereafter, the band leaves Farel en route to their next scheduled destination unknowingly with several individuals in hot pursuit of them.
