Toledo,1485                                                                                                                                       The Holy Office judges a man for his alleged connection to a secret order, the enemy of the Church.

Madrid, 2012                                                                                                                                       Carla Martín suffers the death of her father. Around the same time, his two close friends are killed in strange circumstances...

This is the starting point of an adventure in which a fast-paced succession of events ends up exposing the true identity of the three dead and the impressive secret they protected, one that would, if made public, ruin the Church. The Vatican, with Cardinal Candutere at the forefront, and in his quest to protect itself, directs two parallel actions similar to those they carried out in the dark days of the Inquisition. Several episodes of unsustainable action, in which murders, betrayals, double games, clues and discoveries occur, will be the prelude to a surprising outcome that will affect, not only the direct protagonists of history, but to all mankind.
