Exactly these circumstances led to creating the series of abstracts at shallow waters of Gulf of Finland near St. Petersburg.

Harsh winter delivers a brand new set of patterns for abstract photography. A simple casual walk along the shore helped to spot them. Landscapes use to look different from above, but it was absolutely surprising that just an ice patterns on waters next to the large city were so amazing.
