What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Washington State—Puget Sound area. I forgot to mention this in my review of Do Over. I used to live in Everett, even had a short high school fling with a guy that lived in Mukilteo, so this setting brings back all those high school flutters.
🤩 1st person dual POV—my absolute favorite for knowing our MCs inside and out!
🤩 Close proximity—under one roof!
🤩 Steam you don’t have to wait for and doesn’t fizzle out.
🤩 Chase and Liv are dear and adorable friends-to-lovers.
🤩 All The Feels! This book does it for me so right that I felt this creative reviewer burst of alliteration—Leigh Ann is looking for: love, longing, lust, & laughs!!!! No pressure romance writers.
🤩 Single dad plus great interactions with a sweet kid.
🤩 Resilient MCs overcoming past trauma and hard life experiences to become better versions of themselves.
🤩 Finding “home” or where you belong.
