Heart of Ice

Jessica Crane knows her childhood friend was an unusual being. The bone-white skull, the black cape, the monstrous features all stand out to her as she grows, obsessing over what her friend was. Her obsession takes her back to her roots after high school where she enrolls in the anthropology program at Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada. The search is only starting when she meets the very handsome and very mysterious French-Canadian, Lucas Bereron. There is something familiar about him, something dangerous and enticing.
Lucas feels the same about Jessica. She’s eye-catching, and smart, stirring him up in ways he’d long forgotten, but there’s just one little catch: David. David Lantham has been with Lucas for a very long time, and he is not about to let some Cree brat get in the way of what he holds close to his own ice-cold heart.
