Publisher Description
Love is about to leave one charming cowboy thrown for a loop. . .
Due to a birth defect that left her mostly deaf, Anna Zimmerman has spent her entire life lingering in the shadows. When a cowboy too handsome for his own good unexpectedly bumps into her, the encounter forces her to realize she needs a change. Determined to begin living the life she’s always dreamed about, she grabs onto her courage and faces Jake head on.
Known as a good-time cowboy, Jake Chandler has left a string of broken hearts in his wake. Convinced there isn’t a woman alive he can’t tease or please into doing his will, he hits a wall when it comes to the shy librarian who works across the street. She’s nothing like the women he typically dates, but she might just be the girl who can finally capture his heart.
Uplifting, amusing, and heartwarming, Heart of Love captures the spectacular magic of first love, instant attraction, and sweet, sweet romance.

Heart of Love
Loved the warmth in the book of loving friends and family. I am also partially deaf with only 35% of hearing in one ear and total deafness in the other ear due to a birth defect. I am an exceptional lip reader, having been taught by the best audiologist in the state of Tennessee. She started reading to me silently when I was in the 2nd grade! She always told me that I was her best student until her death at age 92. (Lip reading doesn’t work at all when wearing masks is required😕). Like Anna I was quiet and very insecure and fellow students did make fun of me and even as an adult other adults will yell at me rather than talk to me face to face or if I can’t understand and ask them to please repeat what they said. Anna’s story is my story, loving, caring family and friends who go the extra mile. Loved the book and the clean romance story. Appreciate the fact that the author never once described Anna as handicapped but gave readers a glimpse of how hearing impaired people are affected. We all have our deficiencies and some with severely impacted quality of life. Loved the HEA, I am living my own HEA with a sweet husband who loves me just as God created me! Highly recommend this book! Loved Jake and Anna, beautiful, romantic story.

A bit much
I absolutely loved the first book in this series and also really enjoyed the second one, but I found this book a bit over the top. I found it insulting as a female that she wasn't his "type of girl" until she had a complete makeover and wore more flattering clothes. I absolutely adore my husband and enjoy a good, clean romance but actually found myself groaning aloud at a few portions of the book. The first book had me wanting to read more of her books while this book made me want to reconsider.
