Dark twisted and exciting read !
This book was amazing it’s dark it’s gritty it’s twisted with that lovely Monica James spin she does with her stories and I am anxiously waiting for the next book already! This was a on the edge of your seat WTH did I just read page turner and I devoured it! And that ending!!! Oh sweet jeezus please put me out of my misery I need to know what is going on ASAP! This was another masterpiece done by one of my favorite authors!
A rollercoaster of emotions!
In the immortal words of Queen, “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality” Monica James has woven a storyline that will leave you gob smacked. There are no words to adequately express the next level that is this book. Luna and Dutch are two people brought together by unimaginable circumstances. Watching them navigate their new reality is a look into the asylum stories that were told about the people who were subjected to living there and the treatment they received. To feel the full effect of this book it MUST BE READ. I will caution those with triggers to read the warnings. Ms. James is a virtuoso with words as Dutch is with his piano keys. I highly recommend this book and am fervently awaiting the next one!
