A Dad and a Hero…
Tyler and Abey had my attention … and my heart. As their story is revealed, the reader will join their cheering section and wish only the best. Alan is a high school acquaintance, but the new friendship is quickly kindled. Tyler quickly achieves the title of hero, not only for his rescue of Abey, but also for a local child because of Tylers heroic skills in the rescue. The fire chief was not included in Tyler’s hiring as a captain in the fire department, mainly because Alan was a member of the town council and they hired Tyler. The friction between the chief and Tyler is evident as Tyler suggests ways to bring the men’s skill levels up-to-date, but explodes when Tyler countermands the chiefs orders at a fire to prevent a larger disaster…. Tyler and Alan work together against the chief, and Abey makes horse friends, learns to love Tyler’s parents, and accepts Alan in his life. Good, emotional story with a HEA.
Delightful book!
Andrew Grey does it again! This story is so well crafted that it’s almost impossible not to put it down. The main characters are so well developed that you feel as though you known them for a longtime. Abey is such an interesting part of the story. I loved this book and highly recommend it.
