Publisher Description
With passion so blazing hot, you don't want to put this fire out in Opal Carew's Heat...
When Rikki’s first love dies in the line of duty she vows to keep her heart guarded and never give it away again.
After moving to a new town for a fresh start, she is given the opportunity to show off her photography skills and shoot a sexy fireman calendar. Although taking the job might bring up painful memories, she knows this is her best chance at fulfilling her dreams of becoming a professional photographer.
While out with her new roommates, Rikki meets Simon and Carter and feels an instant spark of attraction… to both equally gorgeous and tempting men. This is the same intense feeling she had the first time she fell in love. But how can she feel that way about two men?
When she arrives at the firehouse to shoot the calendar, she is surprised to find that Simon and Carter are firefighters so she immediately pulls back on their growing flirtation. But Simon and Carter are men who know what they want, and they want Riki. As the chemistry between them ignites Rikki finds it hard to resist falling prey to her steamiest fantasies.
Now she has to choose between keeping her heart safe... or taking a chance on love… and possibly losing everything.

Turn up the A/C!!!
The story features two insanely sexy firefighters, Carter and Simon and photographer, Rikki. When these two gorgeous and brazen firefighters decide they want Rikki, NOTHING stands in their way. Sparks are flying in this erotic romance.
This is a shortened romance with a considerable amount of sex. Fantastic, raising-the-roof, sex. Turn up the a/c cause it's going to get HOT!
Good Story
Pros: I like that there was a story, and people weren't just having sex to have sex. I think the author did a great job of making me "feel" what the characters were feeling.
Cons: at times the editing (mostly nearing the end) seemed very disjointed, and the last makeup scene was nearly impossible to follow. Despite this being a romance novel, I think it should have ended with something about Rikki's job and sort of actually finish telling the sub-story.
Fun, hot, fast read!!
**Received ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest review**
Rikki decided a change was in order after the death of her firefighter fiance to a fire on the job, she needs to find herself and moves away from home and swears off firefighters. Simon and Carter have been friends since firefighter academy, and now are roommates, known to share a woman, but usually just for fun. When Rikki moves to Muldone to pick up the pieces, she starts her own little photography business with the help of her friend Cassie. Her first customers are the local fire department and Rikki will get a little more than she bargained for.
This is a standalone read and a fun, hot, steamy read! I'd rate this as 4 stars! I enjoyed the characters, and the storyline but a virgin wanting to have a threesome for her first time seems to be a stretch, as well as becoming darn near a nympho after her first time. Also kind of weird that she's sexually attracted to all these other guys. Last issue I had is I felt like the ending just stopped and needed a little more or an epilogue or something. Which is why I rated it at 4 stars. But I did enjoy it and I really want Cassie's story, as well as Tony's story and Kyle, Tanner and Dodge. Happy Reading!!
