Heather McClain has a secret. As she goes about her daily life of teaching dance to the young ladies of Bagley, Texas, she worries about what will happen if people find out. When she goes to grab some tacos for lunch, she runs into a man who she immediately knows is meant to be the man she spends her life with.

While Michael Muir is visiting Texas to buy a bull for his ranch, he stops for lunch and his entire world changes. When he spots Heather in the same line he's in, he knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
