This is a great study aid and also a great reference that immediately cuts to the chase (gets to the point), omitting a lot of mumbo-jumbo and unnecessary technical gobblie-goo. This booklet gets to the point and to the heart of the matter of basic aerodynamic theory for the helicopter PILOT. If you need more aerodynamic technical detail, then you need to study at the “R&D” design level. This booklet is perfect for and at the level of understanding for the “pilot.” I highly recommend this resource for both helicopter students as well as potential helicopter CFIs.
BREAK IT DOWN BARNEY STYLE
A lot of books out there on helicopter aerodynamics and theory of flight are very dense and hard to understand for slow readers like myself. Drawlings and easy to comprehend definitions makes this book a MUST HAVE for starting aviators or just someone that is thoroughly interested in how a helicopter flys.
