Dillion was a NFL football player and Kinsey’s boyfriend. But he was abusive and she was battered. She finally left him but Hellfire could not hide her at the Grayson’s. Lot of fire is set. Deranged individuals have no soul
There's a 12 alarm fire burning in Hellfire, TX
There's a 12 alarm fire in Hellfire, TX and it's burning between Kinsey and Becket. This book, being released initially as part of the 12-alarm cowboys box set, is hot. The author manages to develop a new relationship between Kinsey and Becket while accurately and sensitively portraying the after effects of domestic abuse. I really appreciated how the author includes the emotional reaction of a domestic abuse victim, how the support of other people can help that victim, and other resources available to a victim, all in the context of a contemporary romance. I also loved the firefighter aspects of the story - give me a cowboy AND a firefighter in the same character - yummy. The author also introduces us to other members of the Grayson family, which I could only hope means there are more stories yet to come from Hellfire, TX.
