Unexpected love
The day before her wedding, Amira takes off for the mountains to escape a man she does not love nor trust. Vlann saves her from an escaped convict who is trying to steal her backpack. They strike a bargain in that she will stay with him for a few days, long enough for the wedding to be called off and then return home. Feelings are developing between them and plans change. The story is a good read and entertaining.
An OK Read
While I have immensely enjoyed her other books, this one missed the mark.
The couple went from first blush to hot and heavy in less than a page. The plot was simple enough, the development of the characters was spotty.
All in all, a quick enjoyable read that allows you the ability to skim, or skip, entire pages.
I love this author but this outing just wasn’t up to her usual story telling standards.

Fantastic book I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it . Amira was a human living on the planet Marryyn after the destruction of earth years before. She was to marry a man Gregory who abused her and she would do anything not to marry him so she ran away . Vann was a Kaxxloran ex Enforcer turned bounty hunter he found Amira in the mountain woods . She told him about why she had run away and he agreed to help her . As usually happens these two developed strong feelings for each other . Read this great book because so much happens in the telling of their HEA story.
