Carla Kelly is a very excellent author/writer in weaving stories ... many plots and characters into one eBook. Easily, she Introduces the characters while allowing me to remember each one. While the characters develop more, so does the stories that become attached to them.
There are many emotions in this fiction historical of being on a Army fort of the time when Custer was alive, in the 1800’s.
Has different circumstances that I as a reader could sense or feel at times.
I hesitate to call it a romance...there is some of that. Also, the insecurities of a woman having to leave Pennsylvania, for unknown parts of the wild West. And, to unknown circumstances. But, not all are insecurities either. There is humor. And, much more. All the stories are completed...none are left undone. This is one I will be re reading often. Carla Kelly tells her stories in a unique different way. I was captivated from page 1.
This is my first reading of anything by Carla Kelly. I am now a new fan. Will be looking forward to reading anything she writes!!!
