HER PREGNANCY BOMBSHELL
A nice kick-off to the Summer at Villa Rosa series! The first sister whose story we dive into is Miranda Marlowe. The characters are interesting and the plot is diverse ... I would have liked to see a little more development of their relationship once they decided to give it a go together, but the build up of the past was done well.
Andie Marlow has been crushing on her boss since the day she turned 18 years old, but he's still heartbroken over his wife's death. After an especially hard situation arose and she offered him the only comfort she could think to give, she finds out she's pregnant and flees to her sister's Mediterranean getaway.
Cleve Finch doesn't know why Miranda is cutting off ties, but he's not going to let her go without an explanation! Once he finds out they are expecting a baby, he offers marriage. Can she bring herself to marry him when she knows she'll never have his heart? And as their wedding day draws near, will the secrets Cleve has been hiding come to the surface?
Fun read
This was a nice, easy, fun read that was completely entertaining. I really enjoyed these characters. Cleve and Miranda were so cute together and their story is great. Cleve might be Miranda's boss but she's had a crush on him for the longest time. A year after he loses his wife in a plane crash he's still troubled and when he turns to Miranda for comfort she's more than happy to provide it. That was more than a month ago. Now Miranda finds herself still alone and pregnant. Needing to get away she visits her sister's Mediterranean villa. So maybe it has a few problems, like a hole in the roof and a layer of dirt and dust about 2 inches deep. Miranda can handle that. What she can't handle is Cleve turning up on her doorstep or the gigantic spider in her shower! The spider Cleve will get rid of but getting rid of Cleve isn't quite so easy, and does she really want to??
I highly recommend this one.

I love the romance that this story has. It is sweet, funny, enticing and the characters were great together. I enjoyed every minute of it!
