Not necessary
The first book is the exact same thing just a different POV. Good writers are able to add different pov’s in one book, instead of trying to make more money by creating a whole separate book. The second book is a complete waste of time. There should’ve been more context given in the first book to avoid the second book. When someone can skip a book in a series and still understand what’s happening in the series the author did a terrible job. This was a waste of time and money.
