Finding somebody to love
Arton the Harbinger is a twisted and tortured soul. The Outcast Ovwerlord is his friend and his stabilizing anchor, human geneticist Lily has the hots for him, his estranged family has never stopped hoping for reconciliation - yet he isolates himself with his shame, hatred, and anger. This is a story of hope and healing, set on a supposedly uninhabited new world, ostensibly safe from detection by enemies… Candi Friberg’s Rhodyte/Bilarrian universe grows more complex as the Outcasts, starting with their Harbinger, must face a new reality and leave the past behind. This first in a new series promises more steamy romance, danger, and good reading.
horrible writing
couldn't finish this atrocity of writing. the character perspectives switch from him to her mid chapter, even the same page, with no clear break. there are excessive details about mundane topics that are not necessary or supportive to the plot. the plot is so bombastic it's impossible to suspend reality for. How this got published is a mystery.
