Search and Rescue: Book Four
Search-and-rescue worker Spencer Helmsley has everything he needs: a job he loves, a flight partner he’d die for, and an amazing dog.
Then he flings himself out of a helicopter to rescue Theo Wainscott.
Stuck on a raft in the middle of a flood with the most stubborn, argumentative man in the world, Spencer soon finds himself asking not how they’ll survive but what’ll kill them first—the water, each other… or the sexual tension.
While Theo and Spencer are trying to beat the odds, Theo is also trying to beat some sense into his rescuer. Spencer seems to have no regard for his own safety, and that’s a problem for Theo. Maybe he’s never seen another gay man in the wild, but it doesn’t take him long to recognize that he’d like to get to know this one better.
If they make it out alive, Theo will have his work cut out for him convincing Spencer to risk his heart instead of his life….

Fell out of the Sky and into Love
Hidden Heart by Amy Lane was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Theo, an assistant at the youth rec center, was not expecting to have to race to save an elderly neighbor with several teens with him. Thank goodness his dad has always made sure to be prepared for anything. Spencer, a helicopter pilot for Gecko Rescue, and his copilot, Elsie, always has his back, was shifted from a supply run to rescue run for the recreation group. This was a slow burn, sweet story of how Theo and Spencer fell in love and how the one perfect person can show up out of the blue and prove just how loved and needed you really are to the family you have created. I loved Theo and his tenaciousness and sweetness that even the most hard hearted man would melt under his smile. Spencer never had a chance.
Not a good read.
This book is odd. The author really has no idea what happens in a dam break. To be enjoyable the story should be much more in tune with actual drama of a dam break. Just my opinion.
