Hidden History of the Grail Queens

The quest for the Holy Grail is a never-ending search that continues once you have found the Grail Castle and seen the holy spear floating through the room and the Grail Maidens catching the blood that drips from the spearhead into a shining vessel. The seeker may become a guardian of the grail only after understanding what the grail is and whom it serves. When a complete comprehension of the nature of the grail is gained, the seeker who has become a guardian can then have the opportunity to become the Grail King, according to many versions of the grail stories. The new Grail King replaces the Rich Fisher King, who has been mortally wounded by the spear and become an ineffectual ruler as the kingdom crumbles into a wasteland. But what is easily forgotten in the grail quest is that throughout all the stories, the Grail Maidens possess, attend, and serve the grail loyally. From the earliest versions of grail lore, the Maidens of the Wells and the Maidens of the Holy Grail Procession were always true to the grail, whether the stories are taken from Celtic mythology, Arthurian legends, the Courts of Love, or stories of the holy blood relics of Jesus of Nazareth. The feminine line of Grail Maidens and Grail Queens was unbroken and was the grail lineage that possessed and guarded the sacred blood Mysteries in all their forms, including holy blood relics. The feminine in grail lore is often overlooked or downplayed, even though it was the faithful Maidens who began the Grail traditions and devotedly served them throughout history without fail.
