Who needs love when you have money?
This has been my motto. This is who I am. Who I’m expected to be.
All of that changed when he walked into my life and made me question everything. As my personal security guard, I can’t escape him or the way he makes me feel.
He makes me laugh.
He makes me second guess my choices.
He makes me want more from life.
I hide in a bed of deception to disguise myself. It used to be enough, but now I’m not so sure.
Can I sacrifice those who depend on me for my own happiness?
I’m Elizabeth Fitzgerald.
I’m a Senator’s wife.
And I hate my life.

Fast pace excitement in every page
I really liked the mystery, suspense, and chasing around that this book had going. It made the read fun, exciting, and very enticing with the erotic sex. Adrenaline definitely played a part in this steamy, hot, panty melting series. The only thing was.... Callahan, the evil one, was really let off easy for all the atrocities he committed towards Elizabeth. I would have liked to see how, our hero, Bryce, would have tortured him to death. My sadistic side coming out.

The verbal abuse and assault by Cal on
Elizabeth is heartbreaking. Will Alex give
her the courage to stand up to Cal? Can't
wait to see what happens next.
Loved it
So many lies, thankfully she found a HEA.
She’s married to a power hungry, control freak. She’s been lost for years. There’s a man who turns her head who she befriends. Sparks fly and well…twists and turns.
It was a good book, worth the read!
