Hidden Within

Over the course of a lifetime, poetry has had the power to express my feelings in a way that I could not address in any other form. Things that I could not directly say come out in poetry in sometimes clear, other times obtuse ways that only my subconscious fully comprehends. It is a form of therapy allowing me to process thoughts and feelings there was no space in my family or world to express. There is a reason teens often find their way to poetry since it comes from a part of our brain that is not in our normal, everyday consciousness. 

This book takes you on a journey of self exploration and pain, even as it connects, finally with the truest part of your being, your SELF.
