Highlander’s Captive
I enjoyed it. The story and the characters were very interesting.
Suspense, HEA, and over all decent read
Author did a great job with character development and keeping the action and scenes moving. The end was a bit dry and cheesy but overall a good read.
Loved the story
This is a great time travel story with Amy going back 700 years, inside a castle currently under attack. There is a lot of danger surrounding this travel as a war is being fought and she is part of the enemies future family. Inverlochy Castle is currently under attack by King Robert the Bruce and finally overtaken. He claims the castle as his own and leaves Craig Cambel to protect it. Then Amy is discovered and from there their relationship grows but Craig had major trust issues which creates problems. The story is beautifully written, the characters are strong and there is a HEA. I would highly recommend this story as a great read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
