Hills and Valleys

     In a world torn by a thousand-year war between two once-brotherly nations, hope is but a distant memory. Yet, in the midst of bitterness and endless conflict, the Great Creator chooses two unlikely heroes... a boy from each warring nation.

     Caleb, a twelve-year-old boy from the Hill nation, raised by his grandmother from the age of two, embarks on a quest by the Great Creator to find the scroll which is said to end the war. Another boy, Josh, a twelve-year-old orphan from the Valley nation, embarks on the same quest.

   Each boy carries around his neck a medallion, a cherished heirloom passed down through his family together with a legend of a lost city where the two nations once lived together in peace. These medallions are two halves of a divine mystery: only when brought together can they reveal the true location and secret of the lost scroll.

   As the boys' journey through treacherous lands, they must learn to trust one another; their quest becomes not just a search for the scroll, but a transformative pilgrimage of forgiveness, faith, and friendship. Guided by a divine calling, the boys confront their nations' history of pain and discover what it means to be chosen for a higher purpose.
