Hilly the Hippo

Hilly the Hippo was born out of a simple idea from Tyler Gage while a young teenager. He was volunteering at local hospitals and decided he could do something to make young long-term patients more at ease with their situation and ultimately he created a story that all children can enjoy and many parents can relate to.



Tyler foresees doing an entire series on Hilly the Hippo helping children relate to life's common trials and tribulations.



Tyler graduates from Tahoma High School in the summer of 2015. He intends to use the proceeds from his book to produce more Hilly stories, provide supplemental funding for his non-profit, and help pay for college.
