On our return trip to Indian Lake, a surprise arrival in town leads to life altering news! Mica has been afloat trying to put the pieces of his life back together for awhile now, and a short-lived visit from his old friend Grace gave him a lot to think about before she flitted back to Paris. Now she’s suddenly back with a change that will knock him for a loop!
Grace Railton has been crushing on Mica Barzonni every time she’s in the same town as him since she was 16 years old. When she passes back through Indian Lake to help out her Aunt, she reconnects with him and the spark is till there. A short lived tryst keeps her adoration alive as she heads back to her life as a fashion designer in Paris.
Mica Barzonni hasn’t fully recovered from a farming accident that put him out of commission. He’s still not sure what he wants to do with his life, but having Grace show back up in town with a baby in tow is sure to rock his foundation! She didn’t even tell him she was pregnant, and now she shows up with a 6 month old son and hands him over to him? How can he convince her that he can be the man to step up and be the husband and father she and their son need when he’s not sure he can accomplish anything with his life even on his own?
