Publisher Description

Braden Steele wasn't supposed to find me. A billionaire CEO doesn't belong in my world.

Is this fate? Or is he a world-class stalker?

Maybe he thinks, just because we had a near-death experience together, that it meant something? That being trapped together in an elevator, is a sign from the universe? I don't care what he thinks. He's screwing up my routine. And that's where I draw the line. Comedy is all I got. I worked hard to erase the horrors of my past and no billionaire stalker is going to ruin that.

After Braden Steele survives an elevator accident trapped with Isabella, a young hopeful comedian, he can't get her out of his mind. He realises that is a distraction a CEO can't afford, yet, he MUST see her again . . . even if he has to visit every comedy club in town to find her.

Don't miss His Desire, the latest steamy series from Tasha Fawkes.

Good start

I enjoyed the start of Isabella and Braden’s story; however I wish there was more. More of that say what I want comedic side of Isabella, more of Braden’s personality, more spark and chemistry between the two of them. BUT, I’m left with enough intrigue to want to continue their story and see their further individual character development as well as their relationship development.

This was a very good book and I can’t wait for the next one. I can’t wait to see how things turn out for the characters.

A New-Age Romance

Isabella was my favorite character. I liked the traits she embodied: feisty, confident and funny. And I suppose as a young adult, trying to also figure out life and what I'm good at, she showcased dedication to becoming more of a professional in the craft she was pursuing. I liked the boundaries she set for herself in her relationships as well, specifically with Braden and her uncle. I wish it was longer. The banter between Braden and Isabella was perfection. I loved the friendships showcased as well. I guess what I'm ultimately getting at is this seemed realistic. When you want something a lot, you go get it and I'll just say this, it was got hehehe.
