Don't miss this captivating and exciting story!
I reviewed an ARC of this book. I love everything written by this author. She always amazes me. Her books have captivating characters and plot lines and because of these you don't want to stop reading until the book is done! Reid retired from the military and with 4 friends they started a security company near Las Vegas, his hometown. Hanging out at their favorite bar, he is entranced by the singer, Robin, who happens to be the younger sister of the girl he left behind or skipped out on when he was 17. And boy is she angry with him on her sister's behalf, even after 9 years! They travel an extremely rocky road as Reid tries to form a relationship with Robin and she tries to fend him off. Meanwhile there's a nasty arsonist setting fires to the security company's biggest client's property but it's also getting closer to Robin! Why?
Instant complicated chemistry
Reid sees Robin but does not realize who she is. Robin recognizes Reid, hates due to past history with her sister yet lust raises its head. Lust, confusion, danger, mystery, savior. This book has it all, and is a great quick read with a surprise HEA.
