“His Game: The First Time" left me reeling, and questioning my life choices. What began as a quick read, a book I could breeze through turned into a savage and startling story. Birth is a savage process, and his “birth” is no different. I found myself shooketh. So much so that I had to do some serious introspection on why I loved the book.
Ms. Hawkins is a phenomenal writer who delivered a great prequel that left me stunned, and wanting more. I am excited to read the next book. Man, I choose the darkest of the dark every time, and I am never disappointed. 🖤🖤🖤
