The story flows on from Book Six of the First Series. At the end of Part Six, Gina was tattooed with a thrall registration number and given a new name – Rinah. She then met Sheik Salim Husni and his wives. They promised her that after two weeks training, she would transfer to Salim's estate and eventually become a concubine in his harem.
Rinah learns the dreadful truth after three weeks of intensive training. She suspects that their words were just a ploy to keep her quiet until she could be taken well away from Dubai and sold at auction, in a foreign land. She suspects that Salim Husni's wives are behind her rejection.
